Eli Ilya Gervits

Eli (Ilya) Gervits is the President of " Eli Gervits Law" and a practicing attorney with over three decades of experience guiding individuals and businesses through the Israeli legal system. He holds a Master's degree in Commercial Law from Tel Aviv University with honors, and has served as an Officer of Justice in the Israel Defense Forces Reserve, including roles as head of the oversight department and acting head of the disciplinary court under the General Army Prosecutor's office. This rare combination of academic distinction and institutional experience forms the foundation of his practice.

Eli leads a Russian-speaking law office, representing individuals and businesses across a wide range of matters — from Israeli citizenship acquisition and real estate transactions to corporate law, investment structuring, and high-tech ventures. He also represents clients before the Supreme Court of Israel and provides ongoing general counsel to foreign companies operating in the country. His bilingual fluency in Russian and Hebrew allows him to bridge the gap for Russian-speaking clients entering the Israeli legal system.

Beyond his courtroom work, Eli is a recognized public voice in legal affairs. He has lectured at Moscow State University and MGIMO. He is the author of a Hebrew-Russian legal dictionary — prefaced by the President of Israel's Supreme Court — as well as several books on the legal aspects of Israeli military service, and was awarded a presidential scholarship for his contributions to legal literature.
